Don't Settle for a Tadpole Design...
Yes, Phycel is a real frog. Phycel became my pet frog in December of 2000. She was a surprise from my mother for Christmas. The pet store did not take proper care of her during transportation and housed her improperly while she was awaiting a new home. She suffered a large gash on the top of her head and ingested gravel at the pet store while lunging for her food. My mother ended up giving Phycel to me early because she was worried about her health and did not know how to care for her. Due to the poor care given by the pet store, Phycel could not overcome her wounds and past away nine months later.
Shortly before Phycel passed, I purchased a friend for her named Elsi, a beautiful Indonesian Whites Tree Frog. A while after Phycel's death, along came Kermit who is a spirited male. A few years later, Gorf joined the family (get it? Frog spelled backwards).
