Rene, with Phycel Designs, has been fantastic to work with. She developed a classic website with a creative twist that reflects our style here at An Affair to Remember. Partnering with Rene was easy. She listened to our needs and continued to fine tune the site until we were completely thrilled with the outcome. Her innovative ideas made our pages “pop”! We would highly recommend Rene as a talented and creative web designer. — Kelli Kirkham and Terre Wallis, Co-Owners, An Affair to Remember
[fahy-suhl] Well, we get this question all the time. The name Phycel has been a significant name long before our company was born. The unique spelling originally came about when trying to come up with an AIM screenname back in 1997. Boring origin, I know... but it doesn't end there. This name gradually became a label used in continuous projects, including purchasing the domain name Phycel.com in 1999. Rene Folsom, owner and lead designer of Phycel Designs, has always had a love of frogs, particularly the White's Tree Frog. In 2000, Rene chose the name Phycel for her first pet frog. When it came time to choose a business name in 2006, nothing was a better fit than the name Phycel, especially since Rene had been using this name for almost 10 years with various projects.
